The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will translate complex data into actionable insights using Power BI. This role focuses on developing data models, visualizations, and reports that reflect business KPIs and drive decision making. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Power BI and the ability to use it to create data models, visualizations, and reports that are both informative and actionable.

Design, develop and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards and data models Use DAX to create complex calculations and measurements Gather, refine and analyze data and provide information that supports corporate decision making and answers business questions Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needs Ensure business logic is reflected accurately in all reporting, analyses, and models Streamline Power BI data models between teams and departments Maintain objectivity with the ability to see issues from multiple perspectives Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer business questions Provide insights by transforming data sets into simplified, meaningful and actionable trends and visualizations Interpret data to generate dynamic models, conduct statistical analyses and translate into terminology understood by business members Work with data engineers to ensure Enterprise Data Warehouse meets business needs and provides reliable, accurate information Train and mentor junior level analysts Provide training and support to non-technical staff on how to interpret and utilize data reports.
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively to diverse stakeholders Proficiency in using Power BI to create data models, visualizations and reports Strong understanding of DAX and its use in Power BI Proficient in SQL and reporting analysis tools Experience analyzing data trends Demonstrated critical thinker Sense of urgency with the ability to work under tight deadlines Self-motivated, results oriented with a commitment to excellence Demonstrated ability to actively listen to and understand the needs of non-technical stakeholders Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with individuals from various backgrounds Able translate complex technical data into clear, concise, and understandable insights for non-technical audiences.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience Expert proficiency in Power BI for creating data models, visualizations, and reports Advanced knowledge of DAX for complex calculations and measurements Experience optimizing Power BI performance and scalability Strong SQL skills for writing complex queries against relational databases Experience with Tabular Editor (a plus) Experience with Microsoft Excel 3-7 years of experience in a business intelligence, financial analysis, or reporting role Strong business acumen and communication skills Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to drive initiatives forward
