Position Title: CNC Programmer
Salary: $90,000-$115,000 per year Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great CNC Programmer position at a company in Saint Louis, MO. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position. CNC Programmer Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Evaluating parts and determining the best way to manufacture the part. - Writing CNC programs using CAD and CAM software. - Supporting the shop in troubleshooting and analyzing problems with part manufacturing. CNC Programmer Requirements: - 3+ Years of CNC programming experience. - 3D Modeling. - Debugging G Code. - Able to design holding fixtures used in CNC machining and create tool drawings. - Ability to work and communicate effectively with multiple levels of the organization. - Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word and Excel. - Requires a high school education or equivalent plus additional applicable experience. - Requires a minimum of three years up to and including five years to gain sufficient experience to perform the requirements of the position. - Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written or oral form. - Ability to effectively work and interact with others. - Able to understand broad directions on goals and objectives and accomplish the same. - Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. - Possess a working knowledge of shop math and basic engineering and business calculations. - Able to deal with mid-management or executive level contacts. - CREO Modeling desired. - PRO MFG desired. - NC SIMUL desired. - Multi - Axis Programming desired. - Swiss Programming desired. - ESPRIT CAM software desired. - Able to create MACRO programs desired. - Able to generate Part routings desired. - Creative thinking to look for ways to improve parts and processes desired.
