Position Title: Accounting/Payroll Administrator
Wage: $18.00 per hour Hours: 8:00am-12:00pm or 9:00am-1:00pm (20-25 hours per week) We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting/Payroll Administrator to assist with payroll processing, accounts payable, and timecard management at a company in Davenport, IA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in payroll processing and accounting, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel. This position is perfect for someone looking for part-time, steady work in a professional setting. Accounting/Payroll Administrator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Process weekly payroll and ensure accuracy of employee timecards. - Review and enter accounts payable invoices. - Maintain payroll records and verify timesheets for accuracy. - Assist with payroll reporting and compliance requirements. - Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting. - Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and timekeeping. - Perform other general accounting and administrative tasks as needed. Accounting/Payroll Administrator Requirements: - Previous payroll and accounting experience required. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis). - Knowledge of payroll processing systems and accounting software preferred. - High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll data.
