Reporting Relationship The People Partner with report directly to Director, People Partner as a high-level individual contributor. Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic Principal People Partner to join our team. As our People Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a workplace environment where every coworker feels known, loved, and proud. The People Partner position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. This position formulates partnerships across the People function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The People Partner maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition. This position is responsible for providing advice and counsel to coworkers and leaders in the organizations. Leads People program delivery to specified clients. This includes Performance Management, Pay Planning, Succession Planning, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, etc.This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and the ability to foster cross-functional relationships across the organization. The role is hybrid working from your remote office and in-person at the Oakland General Office 1-3 days per week, on average, or based on business needs. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of thejob posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, geographic location, and internal equity.Although we estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this rolewill beplaced between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors.This job is also eligible to participate inPG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
