Description Acara Solution is seeking a Structural Design Engineer for it's client in Grapeland, TX. The Design Engineer is responsible for designing open web steel joists and ensuring that all products meet the design requirements for a wide range of projects, from small gas stations to large athletic stadiums and multimillion-square-foot warehouses across the country. The salary is between 95-125K annually plus bonus and profit sharing. Main Responsibilities: Perform design work in accordance with industry standards and Vulcraft manufacturing processes. Review contract documents, including structural drawings, architectural drawings, and project specifications. Provide direction and technical support to detailers, shop orders, and production teammates during project design and development. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including other design professionals. Promote company products to specifiers and at conventions. Assist junior engineers and interns. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: B.S.
