The Manager-Developer Relations will function as the primary point of contact for developers, ensuring effective communication and project progression. This position will play a crucial role in adding to our network serviceability, by seeking out and building partnerships with local and national property developers to ensure TDS is their internet provider of choice as those partners build new communities (single family, multi-family, and commercial). This role will lead efforts to collaborate with builders and developers, focusing on integrating fiber infrastructure into new construction projects. As the intermediary between builders, developers, and internal teams, this role will oversee strategic planning, relationship management, and promotional activities to boost TDS Telecom's market presence and service adoption. Key responsibilities include managing and holding other teams accountable, supporting all new construction projects within designated market territories, and coordinating with developers, municipalities, internal teams, and other stakeholders. The role requires overseeing project prioritization, attending relevant meetings, and serving as the main contact for local builders. This position will play a crucial role in prioritizing construction projects based on marketing potential, sales opportunities, and return on investment. The selected candidate will be required to report to the local office 3-4 days per week and will have the ability to work out of their home office the remaining 1-2 days per week. The selected candidate must be able to travel within region 30% of the time that will require occasional overnight travel and some weekends. Responsibilities
Build strong partnerships with local, regional, and national developers to discover, monitor, and support all new construction projects. Establish TDS as the provider/partner of choice for broadband services by consulting and developing offers that exceed developer expectations. Gather necessary information to prioritize and recommend construction projects to leadership based on opportunity, feasibility, and anticipated rate of return.
