Job SummaryWe are seeking a Technical Lead with 6 to 10 years of experience in Service Desk and Desktop Support - Remote. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Medicare and Medicaid Claims. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can efficiently manage technical support tasks while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The position offers a day shift with no travel requirements. Responsibilities* Lead the Service Desk team to ensure timely resolution of technical issues. * Oversee remote desktop support operations to maintain system functionality. * Provide expert guidance on Medicare and Medicaid Claims processes. * Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations in all technical support activities. * Develop and implement strategies to improve service desk efficiency. * Monitor and analyze support metrics to identify areas for improvement. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless technical support. * Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills. * Manage escalations and ensure high customer satisfaction. * Document and maintain technical support procedures and policies. * Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software procurement. * Conduct regular audits to ensure system security and data integrity. * Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Qualifications* * Possess strong expertise in Service Desk and Desktop Support * Remote. * Have in-depth knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid Claims processes. * Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal abilities. * Show proficiency in managing and leading technical teams. * Display a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. * Have experience in a hybrid work model and day shift operations. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance. * Be adept at using support ticketing and monitoring tools. * Possess the ability to train and mentor junior staff effectively. * Show capability in vendor management and procurement processes. * Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. * Exhibit strong documentation and procedural skills. The annual salary for this position is between $55,000-70,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
