As a non-profit center within the School of Education and Social Policy at Northwestern University, CTD ensures advanced learners, age 4 - grade 12, receive the education, encouragement and support they need to grow into confident and accomplished lifelong learners. Job Summary This Assistant Coordinator position (limited term appointment) is primarily responsible for supporting the administration of summer residential and commuter educational programs for academically talented youth in grades 6-12, with significant responsibility for day-to-day operations. This position will: support program logistics management, provide instructional leadership to CTD teachers, and participate in recruitment and hiring activities. The primary assignment may shift based on program needs. This position requires 24/7 on-call availability while the Summer Program is in session (June 29 - August 8, 2025). Position Details: Position involves a M-F business day schedule plus the following requirements. During the six weeks of the summer program, the position requires 24/7-on-call availability, weekend work, and extended work-day hours. The summer programs are based on Northwestern's Evanston campus.
Salary Details: This is a temporary 5-month project appointment (April - August). Salary range is $4,500-$5,000 monthly, commensurate with experience. This position is not benefits-eligible, beyond NU's Voluntary Savings Plan.
