The 2^nd shift Distribution Supervisor isresponsible for the day-to-day distribution center activities and adjusting schedules as necessary in the shipping department. The Supervisor is responsible for distribution center accuracy, productivity levels and facility order during the shift. Supervisors also oversee training of associates to ensure well-coordinated picking, and shipping processes. Ability, willingness, and demonstrate the ability to train, teach, coach, and motivate team members in a changing high-growth environment. Team size is approximately 12 - 15 team members and growing.

Working hours for this role are 2nd shift; 1:00 - 9:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Weekends as needed.

Essential responsibilities of the Distribution Supervisor are:

• Ensuring the team has necessary equipment to work safely
• Inventory control
• Day-to-day operations of shipping including labor scheduling, proper utilization of space and equipment and quality.
• Hiring, leading, coaching and managing Order Fulfillment Associates
• Encouraging the team to share continuous improvement opportunities, and coaching through implementation.
• Compilation of daily measurements/metrics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.S. in Materials Management, Logistics, or related) or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• At least 5+ years of Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving, and Inventory related experience in a distribution environment.
• Proven supervisory experience or aptitude which includes having strong management, leadership, coaching, organizational and motivational skills.
