Pay: $24 per hour

1st Shift Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday with overtime as needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Route and schedule FTL/LTL shipments and manage large volumes of parcel shipments with carriers such as FedEx and UPS.
  • Coordinate with customer service and business partners to resolve shipping discrepancies and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Process international shipment paperwork and ensure compliance with global shipping regulations.
  • Assemble outbound orders, ensuring proper labeling and documentation for accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Verify that all shipments meet customer-specific compliance standards and routing guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits, compliance tracking, and operational reporting.
  • Provide guidance and support to the logistics team, ensuring tasks are prioritized effectively and executed to meet deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations and troubleshooting/logistics issues.
  • Develop metrics to track team performance and drive operational efficiency.

Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required (additional education in logistics or supply chain preferred).
  • 6+ years of experience in warehouse logistics, shipping, or a related field (including a valid forklift certification).
  • Familiar with LTL/FTL and parcel shipping processes, including carrier platforms and customer compliance.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (experience with SAP is strongly preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of shipping platforms (e.g., FedEx, UPS) and freight carrier requirements.
  • Proven analytical, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, judgment, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Excel
  • Ability to remain active during each shift and frequently bend, kneel, twist, stretch, squat, pull, push, and lift 50 pounds.
