Pay: $21 per hour

1st Shift Hours: 6 AM - 3 PM, Monday-Friday

Shipping Coordinator Responsibilities:



  • Route and schedule LTL/FTL shipments to ensure on-time delivery and optimal cost efficiency.
  • Process and manage large volumes of parcel shipments via FedEx, UPS, and other carriers.
  • Adherent to customer-specific shipping and packaging requirements and routing guidelines.
  • Assemble and prepare outbound orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
  • Maintain accurate shipping records, including carrier documentation and invoices.
  • Monitor and resolve shipping issues or delays in coordination with the warehouse and customer service teams.
  • Accurately enter shipment information into the ERP system to generate packing lists, shipping labels, invoices, and other documents.
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports, including shipment volumes, on-time delivery metrics, and cost analyses.
  • Communicate effectively with transportation companies, internal teams, and customers to resolve shipping issues.

Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or a related field.
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain and maintain).
  • Experience with LTL/FTL and parcel shipping procedures.
  • Familiarity with customer-specific shipping requirements.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (experience with SAP is preferred), Microsoft Excel, and basic reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of FedEx, UPS, and freight carrier platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to remain active for the full duration of each shift (frequent walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, etc.) and lift items weighing 50 pounds.
