Import and Export Clerk daily tasks: Coordinate freight drop-offs, pick-ups, and warehouse communication. Enter shipment data into customer Warehouse Management Systems and logs. Update drivers on inbound and outbound shipments. Prepare shipment documentation to ensure regulatory compliance. Provide customer service, addressing shipment and billing inquiries. Track orders, assist with tracing, and process accurate invoices. Interface with carriers and update operational data while resolving service concerns. Qualifications: Candidates should have basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, and job-specific software, with the ability to use databases to review and verify information. They must be capable of preparing basic reports, tracking shipments, and handling operational data. A minimum of 1 to 2 years of recent experience in logistics is required.
