Welding Technician

Pay Range: $20.50 - $28.00 per hour (Based on Experience/Weld Test Results)

Shifts Available:

• 2:00 PM - 10:15 PM (Monday to Friday)
• 10:00 PM - 6:15 AM (Sunday to Thursday)

As a Welding Technician, you will be responsible for welding, cutting, and shaping metal materials for various projects. You will follow blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise, high-quality work, while operating welding equipment safely. Attention to detail, technical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential in this role.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of welding experience or completion of a welding trade school program.
• Proficient in GMAW/MIG and FCAW welding methods for mild and structural steel.
• Experience welding in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions, including fillet and butt weld joints.
• Ability to pass a welding test.
• Skilled in using basic hand tools (grinder, cut-off wheel, magnetic drill).
• Accurate in measuring with a tape measure (test required).
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Preferred experience with overhead crane operations.
• Capable of lifting and handling metal components weighing at least 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to assist in other departments as needed.
