Requirements



  • 3 years of experience in welding fabrication of vessels
  • Experience on shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAQ/MIG), flux cored arc welding (FCAQ), and gouge to apply root pass
  • The ability to read/follow welding procedures
  • Able to perform 6G, 6" and 2" 45-degree weld test
  • Steel-toes & the ability to lift 50 pounds



Vessel Welders Job Description



  • Set up components and weld metal parts together
  • Safely use gas welding and any combination of arc welding processes
  • Identify any defective equipment
  • Weld products according to engineering drawings or work orders
  • Manipulate heat during the welding process
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace



1st or 2nd Shift | $21 per hour
