Growing chemical manufacturer is looking for an Accounting Assistant for their Woodlands office. The Accounting Assistant would be responsible for verifying invoiced billing rates against contracts and posting service entries in SAP.



This position is a long-term temporary assignment(1+ year) with potential conversion in the future. Opportunity for advancement as the position is available as current Accounting Assistant has been promoted. Excellent pay and full-time medical benefits offered during temporary duration. Responsibilities
of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:




  • Supports contract verification for entering service entries into SAP in accordance with contract verification policy



  • Assist with service entry GR/IR reconciliation (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt reconciliation)



  • Support accounts payable process via Check requests, wire transfers and Non-PO coding




Requirements:




  • High School Diploma/GED required, Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred



  • 2+ years of AP experience supporting a manufacturing environment



  • Experience with high volume processing



  • Proficient with Microsoft Office



  • Experience with SAP, Ariba a plus



  • Ability to work independently and complete assign work with minimal supervision



  • Ability to prepare accounting reports using SAP, Excel, PowerBI and other tools
