The Prescott Campus is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Center for International Program Services (CIPS). This position serves as the Prescott campus Designated School Official (DSO) and will work closely with the Assistant Provost for International Education and the Executive Director of International Student & Scholar Services & PDSO to ensure effective and compliant international student support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Supervision: Manage the daily operations of CIPS and supervise the International Student Coordinator (DSO), ensuring the team provides high-quality, responsive, and accessible services to international students.
• Immigration Compliance: Interpret and ensure adherence to all relevant U.S. immigration policies, laws, and standards. Complete all regulatory responsibilities assigned to DSOs and AROs by the Department of Homeland Security (DoHS) and Department of State (DoS).
• Advising & Support: Provide compassionate and accurate advising to international students on how academic policies align with their visa status and immigration responsibilities. Process immigration-based requests including I-20s, CPT/OPT, reinstatements, program extensions, and changes of level.
• Data & Documentation Management: Maintain all required SEVIS documentation, ensuring compliance with data protection and record-keeping standards.
• Collaboration & Program Development: Work in partnership with the UA Center for International Education to develop and deliver programs that support international student orientation, belonging, resilience, persistence, and retention.
• Communication & Outreach: Implement a comprehensive communication plan to keep international students informed about policies, processes, and available support.

Bachelor's degree in Education, Management or Public Administration or related fields

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities
DSO/PDSO and RO/ARO experience with F1 and J1 visa types.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Management and leadership experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Cultural sensitivity.
