Genesis10 is seeking a Financial Consultant. This role is with an insurance company based in Milwaukee. The contract duration is 3+ months. Responsibilities: Prepare and provide supervisory sign-off on net capital computation and various regulatory filings (FOCUS, SSOI, Form Custody, etc.) Maintain internal control documentation relating to regulatory reporting policies and procedures Build internal networking relationships and collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance/Accounting, and Products/Services teams to investigate and resolve issues, communicate adjustments, determine capital distributions, and provide regulatory and accounting guidance Prepare and present financial results to the Board of Directors, Accounting Committee, Information Technology Steering Committee, and Executive Committee Author internal memoranda on regulatory matters and status reporting Act as a subject matter expert and liaison to externally independent auditors and regulators Potentially supervising a staff of 5-10 employees Requirements: Series 27 license: Essential for signing off on regulatory filings Peoplesoft financials (General Ledger platform) Subject matter expertise with the "Net Capital Rule" (SEA Rule 15c3-1) SEC and Client regulatory filings, including FOCUS, SSOI, Form Custody, SIS/OBS, 17-H, Form Client SIPC forms 6 and 7, Client and GASB assessments, audited financial statements to SEC/Client and State regulatory authorities Preparation of internal financial statements and presentation to senior management Compensation: Up to $68 per hour W2H Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
