Your tasks

  • The Maintenance & Reliability Engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of the plant operations by overseeing maintenance programs, optimizing equipment performance, and managing key aspects of utility projects.
  • Sets up, configures, and manages the Fiix Maintenance Management Software (MMS) to streamline maintenance activities.
  • Ensures data accuracy and implements best practices for asset management, work order management, and preventive maintenance scheduling.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of maintenance training programs.
  • Ensures team members are properly trained on maintenance practices, safety standards, and software tools to improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Supports the implementation of TPM strategies across all departments, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Collaborates with other teams to foster proactive maintenance and reduce equipment downtime through TPM methodologies.
  • Manages spare parts inventory, ensuring the right parts are available when needed while minimizing excess stock.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective parts procurement.
  • Oversees the planning, execution, and completion of various utility projects, including power, water, and compressed air systems.
  • Ensures projects meet safety standards, cost controls, and operational goals.
  • Designs electrical systems and components for plant equipment.
  • Develops and executes testing methods to verify the functionality and reliability of electrical systems and components.
  • Identifies and analyzes failure modes of plant equipment and leads initiatives to improve reliability.
  • Develops and implements strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimizes unscheduled downtime.
  • Works closely with operations, engineering, and other departments to ensure equipment reliability and supports daily production activities.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to the team and ensures the sharing of knowledge across the maintenance department.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Your profile

  • Excellent communication skills with all levels within the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software package.
  • Strong knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
  • Project Management skills.
  • High-energy individual who is goal-oriented and results-driven.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven self-starter: takes the initiative to identify and drive change.
  • Ability to plan time, manage deadlines, and multi-task.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities to identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of electrical system design, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Reliability Engineer, or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), particularly Fiix software, is preferred.
  • Experience in planning and executing utility-related projects is a plus.
  • Exposure to machine noise.
  • Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production area.
  • Working conditions are normal for a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds and working in and around heavy equipment.
  • Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to, eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots.
  • This role may require walking in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
