Manufacturing Program Manager

What You'll Do

• Lead cross functional resources towards the successful execution of awarded manufacturing contracts
• Deliver manufacturing contracts on-time to the customer and on budget to the business with respect to both material and labor
• Manage business area risks such as delivery schedule, program budgets, and product/program supply chain
• Interface with Manufacturing Managers to provide detailed plans and direction for execution of production content
• Provide regular status and updates to SRC Program Management on topics such as cost, schedule, material concerns, and risks
• Lead and support efforts for proposal development, responding to proposal requests for ongoing/new efforts, and supporting business development activities for the product line
• Support internal company activities such as: ISO compliance audits, program management reviews, financial reviews and process improvement initiatives
• Develop future leaders though coaching and mentoring within the manufacturing organization

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, mathematics, business administration or a related field with 8+ years program related experience, including 3 years program leadership experience (e.g., technical lead, DPM, EPM)
• 10+ years of experience desired in manufacturing with minimum of two years' project management experience
• Experience in a high mix, low volume or low mix, high volume manufacturing environment
• Prior experience with continuous improvement tools (lean, 5S, and visual management) a plus
• Must be able to communicate effectively, have excellent interpersonal skills, and enjoy working in a team environment
• Must be self-reflective and have a desire to improve performance; also, must be able to effectively display empathy in difficult situations
• Must be an effective decision maker (objective and pragmatic) as well as follow a structured approach to both problem solving and daily task management

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $101,140 to $139,068 annually. The salary will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
