Terros Health is pleased to share an exciting and New Opportunity for a 40-hour, Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) Crisis Supervisor - Phoenix.

As part of the Phoenix Behavioral Health Unit (BHU), The BHU Supervisor helps develop staff to provide excellent customer service, interventions, documentation skills and problem-solving ability. Provides documented clinical and administrative supervision to peer recovery support specialist according to departmental and OBHL requirements.

The individual will need to be professional, friendly, a self-starter, organized, and compassionate.

We are currently hiring a 40-hour Crisis Supervisor (BHU) for our Crisis Department.

New Hire Sign On Bonus: $2,000 if not licensed!

$3,000 to $5,000 if licensed (cannot be a temporary license)!

Full-Time Employment

Shift differentials available: $3 per hour extra for evenings and $4 per hour extra for weekends

Bilingual - Language Differential are also Available!

Your duties would include but are not limited to:



  • Ensure staff provide excellent customer service with clients, payer sources, community stakeholders (e.g., police, fire, providers, etc.)
  • Actively fosters a positive relationship with City of Phoenix Fire and the City of Phoenix as evidenced by attending meetings and maintaining open communication regarding peer and program progress.
  • Conduct clinical supervision per ADHS and agency requirements and maintain a supervision log that tracks supervision hours. Schedule time to conduct a minimum of 2 hours of direct observation rides in the field for each assigned staff member on a monthly basis. Schedule staff such that direct observation in the field occurs on a regular or as needed basis. Utilization of/and support of staff in using Electronic Health Record (EHR). Requiring proficiency in EHR Crisis documentation for manager use in the field as well as coaching support for staff.
  • Assist in NEO and ongoing staff training and ensure training requirements and annual training hours are met.
  • Conduct timely corrective counseling and maintain the Corrective Counseling Logs. Coordinate with the City of Phoenix Fire Department (FD) to ensure staff attend and complete training per FD standards and protocols.
  • Ensure staff compliance with agency/department policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that staff performance appraisals {6/12 months) are completed on or before due dates and includes relevant information for the period.
  • While on-call, respond to calls quickly and effectively solve problems with Crisis staff.
  • Continue developing skills related to crisis intervention, clinical supervision, and managing employees.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:



  • Master's degree in the field of behavioral health.
  • Preferred - licensed at the associate level or higher in accordance with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
  • Must have or be able to attain CPR/First Aid Certification within 60 days of assuming role.
  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card within 7 working days of employment
  • Must have valid Arizona driver's license, be (21 years of age) with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros driving policy.
  • Proficiency using computer-based systems including electronic health records, Microsoft Outlook, and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be able to operate a vehicle safely at various times of day/night depending upon hours worked.
