Architectural Designer/Architect

LHB has an immediate opportunity for an architectural designer/architect to join our Government Studio, with the opportunity to work in other markets a possibility. The hybrid position will be based in either our Duluth or Minneapolis office depending on your preference, where a supervisor will provide mentorship and guidance in support of your career growth. The position, a part of our Integrative Design Team, will offer opportunities to work alongside our in-house design and engineering disciplines in support of our goal of being the leader in creating regenerative communities.

The Integrative Design Team consists of a talent group of professionals with a passion for and commitment to collaborating with a wide variety of clients in the creation of sites, spaces, and facilities through innovative and environmentally sensitive design. This full-time position offers an opportunity to use your technical, design, and graphic skills to contribute to interesting projects for a diverse group of clients.

Position Summary

The responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:

    Project team support in all design phases
  • Developing interior and exterior renderings
  • Assisting in developing design concepts and details
  • Assisting in the development of construction documents
  • Assisting in construction administration activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution
  • Experience in visualization software, including Revit
  • 0-3 years' experience
  • Professional verbal communication and writing skills
  • Upon receipt of an offer of employment, applicants must be able to successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that will include a criminal/civil background check and drug screen, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency producing documents in Revit
  • Experience with and continued interest in community involvement
  • Passion for social impact and environmentally sensitive design
  • Exceptional design skills

Salary Range

This position's anticipated base salary range is $56,050- $67,000 annually. This position is eligible for yearend & profit-sharing bonuses, as well as straight time pay for all hours that exceed 40 in a work week) Offer will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
