PLTPR Solution Architect / Lead / S4 HANA \| 41100 DETAILS *Location: 100% Remote Travel: ~40% travel to end-client locations in Irving, TX and Falls Church, VA \| additional travel could be required for workshops / events / customer-specific requests, etc. Position Type: 10M+ Contract (w/ likely extension thru 2027) Hourly / Salary: BOE! JOB SUMMARY* Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Plan to Produce (PLTPR) Solution Architect / Lead / S4 HANA for a 10M+ Contract (w/ likely extension thru 2027) that is 100% remote-based with ~40% travel to Irving, TX and Falls Church, VA. The PLTPR Solution Architect must possess experience as a Workstream Lead for the Aviation Airframe Manufacturer level and as a Senior-Level Consultant (K5 / K4). The PLTPR Solution Architect will manage supply chain planning, including project systems integration, sales operation and planning, and manufacturing production master data and execution. PLTPR has large integrations with Manufacturing Operations and Product Lifecycle Management and includes Capital Projects, Engineer to Order (ETO), R&D / Maintenance Projects, stock management, delivery, transportation management, transportation of dangerous goods, EH&S, and customs and export compliance. The PLTPR Solution Architect will explore workshops and articulate key value propositions in area of SME and S/4 HANA innovations pertinent to Procurement processes. Collaborate in the Development of Strong Value Propositions for Transformational Initiatives Apply Strong Knowledge of Business Processes for Developing / Testing ERP Functions Associated with Business Operations, etc. Facilitate Workshops (Solution Architecting / Requirements Gathering) with Business Managers / Stakeholders / End-Users, etc. to Determine Business / Functional Requirements Design / Configure ERP Systems to Meet End-Client Business Requirements Conduct Knowledge Transfer / Training to End-Users \| Sharing Best Practices Module (PS / MM / IM / QM / LE) Configuration / Deployment About the Project: S/4 HANA was implemented by HCL at the client-site 2-years ago. Since then, there have been a substantial amount of customizations and integrations that have deviated away from the core SAP system functionality. This Lead Solution Architect MUST be an SME with PL2PR and the related modules but also have a full 360 understanding of the suite of modules. The focus of this Lead Solution Architect is to function as an Advisor to identify enhancements, provide recommendations to the executive teams / stakeholders, and sell them on how they can better leverage SAP to get clean core. Lead Solution Architects that are primarily focused on implementations, enhancements, and configurations, will not be selected for this position. This PLTPR Lead Solution Architect MUST be a High-Caliber Techno / Functional Consultant that is more heavily focused on the Functional-side, that can almost function as a Management Consultant / Advisor. JOB REQUIREMENTS PLTPR Lead Solution Architect - S/4 HANA 1809+ \| Team Lead with Experience Involving a US Deployment of an SAP S/4 HANA Global Design with Localization in the US Geography \| Successful Completion of 3 Full Lifecycle Implementations of SAP S/4 HANA A&D (Aviation / Aerospace / Defense Sectors) (REQUIRED) - Managing Complex OEM Aviation / Aerospace / Defense Manufacturers (OEM Aerospace experience is HIGHLY-preferred, however Automotive / Industrial Products experience (Caterpillar / John Deere, etc.) is also acceptable) SAP Module Configuration / Deployment - PS (Project Systems) / SD (Sales & Distribution) / PP (Product Planning) & Scheduling / Quality Management (QM) PP (Product Planning) - Understanding PP in the PS-Related Sales Order Entry Process \| Experience in All Aspects of PP / PEO Integration to Legacy MES or Dassault Apriso Systems QM (Quality Management) - QM in Manufacturing / Production Work In-Process (Quality Witness / Electronic Stamping) (REQUIRED) PMMO (Project Manufacturing Management / Optimization) Experience (replaced GPD) Material Master / Work Centers / Routings / BOMs (understanding) B4 Experience - Deloitte / IBM / Accenture / PwC, etc. STRONG Presentation / Communication Skills - Ability to Facilitate Discussions / Negotiate Mutually Beneficial Solutions, when necessary MS Office (expert) - PowerPoint / Excel / Word / Visio / MS Project, etc. SCRUM / Agile Methodology - Understanding its Constraints, etc. PREFERRED (not required) Successful Completion of Rollout / Localization of Global Design (strongly preferred) Vaco values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
