Purchasing and Inventory Controller

Shift: 1st shift

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (with coursework in purchasing or inventory control management)
• At least 2 years of experience with ISO 9001 standards and Quality Management System procedures

The Purchasing and Inventory Controller manages the purchasing and inventory control department, ensuring that materials are ordered, tracked, and maintained efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Purchase supplies, materials, and parts for the company
• Stay informed about trends, prices, and delivery conditions to ensure material availability
• Maintain and update inventory databases for supplies and materials
• Negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery
• Review purchase orders and contracts for compliance with company policies
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and logistics teams to improve efficiency
• Communicate with suppliers to address delivery, quality, price, or conditions issues
• Develop and implement purchasing and inventory policies to optimize workflow
• Perform additional duties as needed
