GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Customer Service and technical position responsible for 1st level support for hub and field customers. Support includes but is not limited to desktop applications and programs, network troubleshooting, and DaVita application support. The objective of this position is to provide support in a timely manner, and escalate as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

  • Logging and tracking all inbound issues, problems and requests for service through all entry points
  • Must be familiar with Windows Operating systems
  • Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products
  • Must be knowledgeable of DaVita's non-Clinical applications (e.g Starlearning, Villageweb)
  • Must have solid understanding of DaVita's IT environment and technical Infrastructure
  • Fundamental understanding of the desktop, telecom, and mobile device products supported within the DaVita Village
  • Ability to deal with a wide variety of customers
  • Ability to listen and understand inquiries and issues
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Above average typing speed
  • Demonstrate problem solving and decision making ability
  • Communicating with customer, providing status updates, and follow-up ensuring satisfaction
  • Ability to work in a fast moving and highly monitored environment
  • Provide on-call support as scheduled during non-business hours
  • May be required to travel on a minimum basis (5% or less)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.

  • Min of HS diploma/GED and One-year certificate from college or technical school; or
  • Three to six months related experience and/or training; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have met or exceeded the current Service Desk Tiering targets for the position of Service Desk Technical Professional 1
  • Must live the DaVita Core Values consistently

Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to successfully perform the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Physical requirements can vary. These must be reviewed with management. However, in general, the position requires the following physical activities:

  • Ability to lift minimum of 2 pounds to a maximum of 15 pounds unassisted; able to sit for extended periods of time with some standing, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, lifting; moderate range of body motions
  • Ability to hear and interact by phone, in person, and in presentations clearly and efficiently
  • Ability to use computer and all peripherals as needed to meet goals
  • Vision adequate to perform essential duties and responsibilities of position.

Salary/ Wage Range

$19.00-$23.00 / hour

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
