The Senior Manager, Systems Reporting in the Finance department is a strategic role responsible for overseeing, building and enhancing the reporting capabilities, technologies and processes regarding reporting of information, both within Finance and supporting other business functions. This Senior Manager position reports directly to the Controller, and supports the entire Finance organization with reporting and analysis. This position is pivotal in ensuring efficient and effective reporting and analysis within the Finance function. This position will also have a strategic role in establishing and maintaining data governance, data definition, and mechanizing controls and documentation surrounding report creation and availability. This is a hands-on role in which the candidate will create and manage a team as needed over time as needs arise. Responsibilities:
Serve as the Finance team's primary point of contact to design and create financial reports across the NetSuite, SFDC, Snowflake, Tableau and Alteryx platforms. Demonstrates the ability to collect workflow and other pertinent information from users. Develops report specifications based on user requirements. Ensures quality and accurate development of reports based on knowledge of the system(s). Troubleshoots problems or questions from users. Thoroughly reviews and tests each new system release to ensure inventory of reports remains accurate and fit for purposes and communicates changes before users are permitted to access the new release. Demonstrates expert knowledge of the system(s). Partner with Finance team leadership to Identify and prioritize key opportunities for improvement of reporting capabilities. Lead initiatives to establish and enhance Finance team member's understanding of the imperative data quality and integrity attributes, through the use of training, tools, techniques and methodologies. Work collaboratively with Information Technology, Data, and Business Systems teams to establish data integrity standards and controls, which lead to enhanced data quality across and between systems. Work with the Finance team to normalize, standardize and reduce redundancy of reporting. Work collaboratively with Business Process, Data, and Business Systems teams to establish and implement documentation standards for the various reporting tools and reports. Create and implement a reporting lifecycle management process to govern reporting requests, validate ongoing relevance and accuracy of reports, and sunsetting of reports which are no longer relevant or pertinent. Develop, in conjunction with Information Technology and Data Services, a data governance process through which system acquisitions, modifications, and reporting are key considerations for approval and deployment. Identify and pursue opportunities where reporting and control automation would improve processes, capabilities and capacity, and work with the Manager, Systems and Process Management to define the business case, prioritization and approach for implementation. Team as needed with Business Systems and the Finance Business Process leadership as required to contribute to process and Netsuite enhancements.
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in financial reporting, systems management, financial data lifecycle management in working with an accounting and finance function. Strong understanding of the accounting close process and need for timely reporting to accomplish monthly, quarterly and annual closes. 4+ years experience in driving technical system report improvements within a NetSuite Operating environment. Proven track record of successfully bringing team members on the journey to adhere to data governance standards. Hands on Problem solver. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. Experience creating reporting project documentation, including data flow maps, business requirements, and detailed data user stories as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree (MS, MBA or similar) in Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Deep experience in operating within and creating reporting from a heavy Salesforce and Netsuite environment. Experience with Salesforce, Alteryx, Snowflake, Tableau is preferred. Familiarity with Project management and Scrum methodologies.

The gross salary range for this role is $150,000 - $165,000. This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
