Sr. Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 7 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Agile, Service Now, Test Project Management, Automated Testing, and API testing. Experience in Asset & Wealth Management, Asset Management Operations, or Cards & Payments is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

* Lead the development and implementation of software solutions using Agile methodologies.

* Oversee the integration of Service Now into existing systems to streamline processes.

* Provide expertise in Test Project Management to ensure the successful delivery of testing projects.

* Implement and manage Automated Testing frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy.

* Conduct API testing to ensure the reliability and performance of software applications.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.

* Develop and maintain documentation for software development and testing processes.

* Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development.

* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

* Mentor and guide junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge.

* Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and testing processes.

* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and deliverables.

Qualifications

* Possess strong technical skills in Agile methodologies and Service Now integration.

* Demonstrate expertise in Test Project Management and Automated Testing frameworks.

* Have experience in API testing to ensure software reliability and performance.

* Show knowledge of Asset & Wealth Management, Asset Management Operations, or Cards & Payments is a plus.

* Exhibit excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

* Display strong communication and collaboration skills.

* Have a proven track record of mentoring and guiding junior developers.

* Maintain a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.

* Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

* Possess strong documentation and organizational skills.

* Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.

* Exhibit the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

* Show a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
