Technology Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a Technology Architect with 6 to 10 years of experience in Microservices Spring Spring Boot and Java. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these technologies and a good understanding of Asset & Wealth Management. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable microservices architecture.
• Oversee the implementation of Spring Spring Boot applications to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Provide technical expertise in Java programming to develop robust and efficient solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Ensure the best possible performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to maintain code quality.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and technical issues.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirement analysis design development testing and deployment.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to support the development process.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience in Microservices architecture and development.
• Must have hands-on experience with Spring Spring Boot framework.
• Must have proficiency in Java programming language.
• Nice to have experience in Asset & Wealth Management domain.
• Should have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Should have strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Should have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with new technologies.
• Should have experience with version control systems like Git.
• Should have knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
• Should have experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Should have familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Certifications Required

Certified Java Developer AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certified Spring Professional

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $112,000/Year to $145,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
