AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS ECS AWS DevOps and Java along with domain experience in Governance Risk & Compliance and Finance & Accounting. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker who can drive technology solutions to support our business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and secure solutions using AWS ECS AWS DevOps and Java to meet business requirements.
• Oversee the architecture and design of complex systems ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams ensuring high-quality code and efficient delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation including system diagrams data flow diagrams and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with governance risk and compliance standards in all technical solutions.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of new technologies and tools to enhance the companys technology stack.
• Work closely with finance and accounting teams to develop and implement technology solutions that support financial processes and reporting.
• Monitor and manage system performance ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for complex technical issues working with cross-functional teams to resolve problems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in technology continuously improving skills and knowledge.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes contributing to the overall technology strategy of the company.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience with AWS ECS AWS DevOps and Java demonstrating a deep understanding of these technologies.
• Have a strong background in Governance Risk & Compliance and Finance & Accounting with the ability to apply domain knowledge to technical solutions.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Show a proven track record of delivering high-quality scalable and secure technology solutions.
• Have experience in developing and maintaining architecture documentation and technical specifications.
• Be proactive in staying current with industry trends and advancements continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.

Certifications Required

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certified DevOps Engineer Java SE 11 Developer Certification

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $125,000/Year to $145,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
