We are seeking an expert Architect with 12+ years of experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Spring Boot Microservices and Java along with domain expertise in Medicare & Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer.

This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of technical and domain-specific skills to drive impactful solutions in the healthcare sector.

Location: Phoenix, AZ or (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of scalable and efficient software solutions using Spring Boot and Java.
• Supervise the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to ensure standard methodologies are followed.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code that meets performance and security standards.
• Ensure the software solutions are aligned with industry standards and regulations, particularly in the Medicare and Medicaid Claims domain.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
• Fix and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate them into the development process.
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement automated testing to ensure the reliability and stability of the software.
• Document technical specifications and project plans for future reference.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $68K - $130K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
