  • Qualifications you'll bring:
    • Bachelors Degree preferred, equivalent experience may be substituted if the candidate can demonstrate significant relevant work experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years in health insurance or equivalent experience in Finance or Contract Management or equivalent provider office experience.
    • Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT-4, HCPCS coding
    • Strong proficiency in problem solving and analysis
    • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management
    • Adaptability and flexibility in a changing environment
    • Ability to use Excel, Microsoft Office, Power Point
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Excellent follow up skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently

    Your key responsibilities:

    • In collaboration with the Provider Partnership Liaison team, troubleshoots, problem-solves, and resolves triaged provider issues including (but not limited to):
        • Claims Inquiries
        • Payment Inquiries
        • Recovery Inquiries
        • Appeals Status
        • Provider Configuration Errors
        • Configuration Validation
    • Policy Questions Initiates and drives interdepartmental collaboration with key stakeholders from departments such as Operations, Utilization Management, Quality and Member Appeals to resolve provider issues efficiently and effectively.
    • Upon resolution of the above, Internal PR Representative will communicate findings with Provider Partnership Liaison Team to close the loop with impacted providers.
    • Assists with adherence of compliance and/or regulatory requirements as needed.
    • Assists with Provider Payment Policies, as necessary.
    • Participates in meetings and supports successful implementation for assigned projects.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory compliance issues as they exist and change from time to time.
    • Proactive in identifying areas for efficiency improvement across all of Network Management; consistently challenges the status quo in favor of incremental improvement opportunities that could be achieved through new methods
    • Contribute to our humble pursuit of excellence by performing various responsibilities that may arise, reflecting our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer.

    Where you'll be:
    • Reside in one of the following markets: VT/Northern NY
    • Hybrid or Virtual (depending on candidate's proximity to an MVP office) w/ the focus on external meetings with providers in the service markets.
    • Ability to travel consistently throughout a designated MVP service area with occasional overnights stays.
    • Travel requirements 25-50% -- both within designated MVP service market and between markets at MVP offices as needed.


Pay Transparency
MVP Health Care is committed to providing competitive employee compensation and benefits packages. The base pay range provided for this role reflects our good faith compensation estimate at the time of posting. MVP adheres to pay transparency nondiscrimination principles. Specific employment offers and associated compensation will be extended individually based on several factors, including but not limited to geographic location; relevant experience, education, and training; and the nature of and demand for the role.
