Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Strategic Initiatives Manager to join our team, focusing on Health Plan and Value-Based Care initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and driving key strategic projects, supporting business development initiatives, and ensuring the successful execution of our organization's objectives within the health plan and value-based care landscape. You will play a crucial role in coordinating cross-functional teams, facilitating communication, and ensuring the successful completion of projects on time and within budget. This position requires regular travel to meet with stakeholders and attend industry events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage key strategic initiatives and projects related to Health Plans and Value-Based Care that align with the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, operations, and clinical staff, to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives within the health plan and value-based care domains.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives and projects.
  • Monitor progress and performance against project goals, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Analyze project outcomes, healthcare data, and industry trends to provide recommendations for continuous improvement and future initiatives.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities for growth within the health plan and value-based care markets, conducting market research, and analyzing competitive landscapes.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including health plans, provider organizations, and regulatory agencies, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and reports to senior leadership, providing updates on the progress and outcomes of strategic initiatives related to Health Plans and Value-Based Care.
  • Travel to meet with stakeholders, attend industry conferences and events, and participate in training sessions as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, strategy, or a related field within the healthcare industry, with a focus on Health Plans and Value-Based Care.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry trends, health plan operations, and value-based care models.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organized individual with strong skills in content summarization and presentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze healthcare data.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time, depending on project requirements and company needs.
