S&ME is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic CEI Manager/Practice Leader to become part of our Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) practice in Indiana. Join S&ME today and help us provide engineering solutions to our clients!

What You Will Do:

As the CEI Manager/Practice Leader, you will oversee the growth and success of our team of project managers and CEI inspectors by fostering partnerships with the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) and other consulting firms, managing existing contracts, and overseeing transportation projects. A successful CEI Manager/Practice Leader will embody S&ME's culture, promoting teamwork and inclusivity while also challenging and nurturing staff to excel. Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and executing targeted strategies to expand the CEI program.

* Leveraging market knowledge to adapt approaches for maximum effectiveness in Indiana.

* Ensuring top-tier project delivery while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

* Acting as a strategic leader for high-profile CEI projects and working with regional leadership.

* Driving success through measurable goals like revenue growth, team retention, and client satisfaction metrics.

Who You Are:

* You have 20+ years of CEI-related project/program management or project supervisor experience with INDOT.

* You have strong marketing and business development skills in addition to contacts/relationships within the CEI practice.

* You have a proven track record of success winning and delivering opportunities for multiple clients within the market.

* You have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.

* You have a Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Indiana or the ability to obtain within six months.

* Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Design-Build Professional certification (DBIA) certifications are a plus.
