Assists in picking and issuing controlled inventory from a central stockroom and is primarily responsible for cycle counting various inventory, comparing to perpetual record to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity, and identifying the source of errors.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
DECISIONMAKING RESPONSIBIITIES Applies standard procedures and adheres to safety protocols. Makes judgment calls on the need for additional counts or recounts of inventory items. QUALIFICATIONS
WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed in a plant where hazardous or unpleasant conditions arise. Work area is influenced by environmental conditions of hot or cold temperatures. While performing the duties of this job, the employee works near moving mechanical parts, fork lifts, etc. Environment is moderately clean and well-lighted. This is a heavy manufacturing environment with high levels of noise and large heavy equipment. Eye, ear and foot protection are required at all times with specific safety equipment required in areas of the plant. PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS
