The opportunity

Note: This is not an open application. This posting is for those who interviewed and were selected to be a Resident Assistant (RA) for the 2025-2026 academic year. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU WERE NOT OFFERED A POSITION BY RESIDENCE LIFE.

  • I accept the RA position for the 2025-2026 academic year and will fulfill the duties outlined in the RA job description. If I was offered the Peer Advisor (PA) position (current RAs only), I accept the position and will fulfill the duties outlined in the PA job description.

  • If offered a position in an apartment or suite-style housing (East Side Apartments, Monadnock, and East Side Residence Halls), I acknowledge that I will be living with others in a shared space and will begin to connect with potential roommates. More information on roommate selection will be shared soon.

  • I will make every effort to attend Welcome Day on Wednesday, April 2nd at 4:00pm. Any issues regarding attendance should be discussed with Johnny Beksha prior to this day.

  • I will attend RA training, which has an anticipated start date of August 18th, 2025. This is our annual mandatory training that runs for two weeks, lasting through opening/move-in weekend. You should not have any outside commitments during this time. Any issues regarding attendance should be discussed with Johnny Beksha and your future supervisor.

  • I will attend all other meeting and training dates during the application and on-boarding process.

  • Weekly staff meetings for all RAs will be on Wednesdays from 5:30pm-7:30pm. I will be sure that this time is free during the year so that I can attend these meetings.

  • I will attend and participate in all other employment, meeting, and training dates throughout the academic year. This includes, but is not limited to, all-staff meetings, move-in weekend, break closings and openings, winter training, admissions events, end of year closing, etc. Exact dates will be provided during August training.

  • I will attend and assist with the recruitment and hiring of RAs for the 2026-2027 academic year, including participation in Group Process and RA interviews.

  • I will continue to abide by all community standards set forth by the university and maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA. I understand that failure to do so could result in loss of this position.

By submitting an application, you are accepting the offer of our Resident Assistant position, and are acknowledging that you have read and agree to the above terms.

We believe real innovation comes from inclusion - where different experiences, perspectives and talents are celebrated. So if you're wondering whether SNHU is right for you, take the leap and apply. You might be just the person we're looking for.
