The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:

The Sr. Credit & Collections Analyst has the primary responsibility for the Accounts Receivable function serving our Chemical Safety, Jobsite Safety (Checkers) and Facility Safety (NoTrax) businesses. The position ensures timely and accurate payment collection with an emphasis on effective communication, as well as tracking and resolution of short payments. The position also offers cross-functional support to other team members including but limited to posting daily cash and assisting the Credit & Collections Manager on reporting, period-end closing and other projects as needed.

What You'll Do at Justrite:



  • Responsible for collections across multiple business units and their respective ERP systems with a focus on related KPI's.
  • Understand the order-to-cash cycle. Perform root cause analysis on issues and participate actively in the resolution of those issues.
  • Tracks and analyzes short payments while working closely with Customer Service and Distribution Centers to resolve.
  • Assists customers with any inquiries or requests that may arise related to invoices and payments.
  • Develop and implement collection strategies to maximize cash flow and minimize delinquent accounts.
  • Provide collection escalation assistance to Credit & Collection Manager.
  • Participate in special projects as directed by the Credit & Collection Manager.
  • Provide assistance with the upkeep and maintenance of customer master files.
  • Create and analyze reports to measure collections performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assess credit worthiness based on a credit investigation and financial analysis of new customer credit applications.
  • Make recommendations to decrease or revoke customer credit limits based on financial information and payment history.
  • Effectively communicate internal issues impacting collections process with management and key stakeholders.
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
  • Provide guidance and training to the accounts receivable team and other departments as needed.


Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant experience in this field.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable and collections
  • 2+ years as a lead or Senior Specialist.
  • Experience with customers like Amazon, Grainger, Home Depot, etc.

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $58,000 - 65,000.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
