Job Description Summary:
- Provide basic analytical support for FedEx Investor Relations' communications, reporting, and programs.
Job Specific Details:
- Supports the Investor Relations department across all its functions, including the quarterly earnings process and investor engagement.
- Assists in disseminating financial information about FedEx and its strategy to the investment community.
- Provides financial analysis and reporting to senior management.
- Helps ensure that investors understand the company's strategy and that investor concerns are conveyed to senior management.
Essential Functions:
- Assists in the planning, coordination, and execution of the dissemination of financial and general information of the corporation to shareholders and the financial community.
- Prepares and distributes communications emails to investors and analysts.
- Distributes relevant analyst reports, transcripts, and investor topic summaries to management.
- Ensures that investors understand the company's strategy and operations and that investor feedback is conveyed to senior management.
- Assists Investor Relations' management in tracking and reporting on investor engagement.
- Helps conduct financial analysis and competitor analysis for the Investor Relations team.
- Participates in the quarterly earnings preparation process for executive management.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure disclosures are accurate, complete, and compliant with SEC regulations.
- Manages all vendor contracts and renewals.
- Supports the planning of investor days, non-deal roadshows, and Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
- Creates PowerPoint presentations tied to Investor Relations activities and financial messaging.
- Maintains the Investor Relations website.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline.
Minimum Experience:
- Two (2) years' experience in finance, communications, or investor relations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge of computer software programs, e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years experience in financial analysis, financial communications, financial reporting, or investor relations, preferably at FedEx.
- Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.
- MBA or Master of Finance, Accounting, or Economics would be a plus.
Work/Domicile Location:
- This position will be located in Memphis, Tennessee. Minimal travel may be required.
