Prevention Education Lead

Location: U.S. Army Garrison, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii

Employment Class: Full Time Regular

Position Summary:

MSOne 1 Prospect JV LLC (a federal government contractor) is seeking a Prevention Education Lead to provide professional, managerial, administrative, and supervisory dutiies to support staff onsite in support of the Army Family Advocacy Program (FAP) within the Army Community Services (ACS) and Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (DFMWR) at the U.S. Army Garrison, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

*Acts as liaison between Government client and contractor personnel, maintaining continuity between support operations at ACS and contractor corporate offices.
*Acts as the contractor's on-site representative to monitor work staffing and serves as a single point of contact between Government and contractor personnel.
*Ensures effective management of resources assigned to the requirement.
*Implements processes and assigns appropriate resources to administer requirements effectively.
*Oversees day-to-day performance of on-site Social Services Specialists and Educators
*Generates and submits various reports, including a monthly program management review highlighting services provided.
*Monitors policy changes, laws, and regulations and ensures personnel performing services maintain current knowledge of the most recent applicable local and federal laws and military regulations.
*Provides support, including but not limited to briefings, classes, playgroups, outreach events, etc.
*Provides crisis support services in a crisis, disaster, or local emergency.
*Assists in planning and completing annual community needs assessment IAW FAP Accreditation Standards.
*Plans and maintains a 90-day monthly class/event calendar for all ACS FAP activities.
*Develops, updates, and implements a marketing plan to promote FAP awareness.
*Assists with overseeing the design and implementation of a variety of research-based training (e.g., workshops, classes, and briefings)

Education, Experience & Certification Requirements:

*Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution
*Five (5) years of professional experience in domestic violence prevention and child abuse neglect or maltreatment, education, or intervention services.
*Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
*Two (2) years of experience in military lifestyle (may have been gained through work experience in the military support services, prior active-duty status, or as a current or former military family member). Strong problem-solving abilities, decision-making skills, and adaptability to changing procedures and environments. Must read, write, understand, and articulate English fluently and professionally.
*Will complete the Family Advocacy Staff Training (FAST) via the FAST Distance Learning course within 90 days of hire. Experience in computer operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows, and computer applications, such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft TEAMS, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Access, to perform basic word processing, telecommunications, database management, online data entry, spreadsheet, email, and Internet access
*Experience providing customer service to a diverse population. This may include face-to-face telephonic, virtual trainings and presentations, public speaking, or written communication

Security Clearance Requirements:

* Active Secret Security Clearance

Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands:

*Work is performed primarily in an office setting.
*It may involve walking, standing, bending, reaching, and handling items weighing up to 15 pounds.
*Light travel may be required.
*Should be able to use standard office machinery, such as printers and other proposal production machinery, and required Microsoft software.
*Work hours are primarily 7:30am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday but are subject to change, with weekend and/or holiday work as needed. May be required to work outside regular duty hours to accommodate deadlines.
