ob Summary:
The role is responsible for managing projects aimed at optimizing and enhancing HR processes and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, including the ability to track milestones for a broad array of subordinate tasks crucial to overall project timelines. The Project Manager will be an expert in clearly documenting existing processes, highlighting key decision points along the process, and mapping future state processes. The individual in this role will bring together multiple project contributors, stakeholders, and subject matter experts in collaboration toward departmental and organizational objectives.
Key Performance Indicators:
Percentage of projects completed on time and within budget
Tracks adherence to project schedules and milestones
Efficiency and effectiveness improvements as a result of timely project execution
Drive customer/stakeholder satisfaction through effective communication, expectation-setting, and execution
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets
Project manage major initiatives, including tracking critical path and subordinate tasks to ensure on-time completion of required milestones
Develop and implement comprehensive process maps that illustrate bottlenecks and challenges in current practices and explore alternate paths for optimized workflows
Create and maintain process maps for existing business processes
Assist with process architecture and documentation for new or changing business processes
Develop job aids and SOPs to support process updates and best practice adoption
Completes update slides on key initiatives for keeping stakeholders and leaders informed
Identifies standard practices for HR projects such as change management elements, expanded stakeholder alignment tasks, testing, detailed cutover plans, etc.
Create communication plans to keep the organization informed and engaged
Tracks the outcomes of process improvements to measure value and close business cases as required
Required Experience:
2-4 years of experience in process analysis and project management
2-4 years experience in HR process and technology-focused projects
Proficiency in process mapping tools required (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, etc.)
Proficiency with project management software required (e.g. Smartsheet or similar)
Experience with Workday or similar complex cloud-based HR software preferred

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels

Focus on achieving measurable outcomes, setting objectives, and driving projects to successful completion.
Capacity to think critically and creatively to overcome obstacles and find effective solutions
Formal Education, Qualifications, and Training:
Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management or related field or equivalent experience
Professional Certification in Project Management preferred (PMP or similar)
*Fully Remote - does prefer EST or CST.
Workday experience, a plus.

Expected assignment 30-60 days. Possible opportunity for extension or conversion but not guaranteed.
Estimated Min Rate: $40.00
Estimated Max Rate: $53.00
