Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of IT Systems to oversee our organization's IT infrastructure, with a particular focus on cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have managerial experience in the IT field and a proven track record of successfully managing IT operations and teams. This is a remote position, must be willing to support our west coast core hours of 8am-5pm PST. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee and lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability IT Strategy: Develop and execute IT strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives, including cloud migration and digital transformation initiatives Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on IT projects, performance, and issues Security Management: Implement and manage security protocols to protect the organization's data and systems from cyber threats Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Maintain and develop effective BCDR plans for all responsible services as needed Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of IT services and solutions Budget Management: Develop and manage a budget for I&O systems, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications Ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and thrive in a dynamic corporate environment Skill in working harmoniously within cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Possesses attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers and with outside agencies, partners, shareholders, and business associates Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to adapt messages and strategies for diverse audiences Strong proficiency in standard software applications, including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of five years of managerial experience in IT, with a strong emphasis on cloud infrastructure, BCDR, and budgeting Proven experience in leading and managing IT teams Strong knowledge of Information Security Experience with and adherence to compliance frameworks: (CMMC Level 2, GovHigh, 32CFR, CUI, FedRAMP, NIST-800, PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, SOC 1 & SOC 2) and internal security Ability to successfully pass a background check Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Information Technology or related field in business. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, ITIL, CISM, or equivalent certifications are a plus Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs) Previous government contracting experience Pay and Benefits The salary range for this position is $129,500 to $187,800annually.
