JOB MISSION:

As the Global Marketing Associate, Running you will serve in a pivotal role supporting the creative vision and demand creation tactics for the Global Running category. The Marketing Associate will work cross-functionally to create industry-leading consumer journeys that increase brand consideration and drive commercial goals while leveraging key sport and culture moments. This role will work directly with regional and global counterparts, as well as our key athletes and retailers, to assert our position in Running. This role is based at New Balance headquarters in the Boston area.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support the long-term creative vision & develop demand creation tactics for New Balance's Global Running category.
  • Aid in delivering seasonal and yearly marketing plans through Go-to - Market process including sell in and sell through deliverables.
  • Support Development of campaigns, aligned to consumer journey needs, that drive demand for Global Running
  • Partner with Global Product, Global & Regional Merchandising, and Regional Marketing leads on category growth goals and the support of all commercial product.
  • Manage our product launch calendars, international creative tracker, social, site calendars, GTM key milestones.
  • Manage all seasonal product ordering of samples for seeding, as well as XTR order for production.
  • Support in cross channel and regional communication ensuring all deliverables are updated in Asana and regional playbooks are created and deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • 3+ years of progressive experience working within marketing and related functions.
  • Strong understanding of digital-first demand generation and a track record of driving marketing results in competitive domestic and international markets.
  • Exceptional project management and cross functional communication. Track record of meeting all deadlines is required.
  • Experience working across relevant sport and culture markets.
  • Superior problem solving, analytical skills, operating in ambiguity.
  • Strong executional skills; consistently produce results and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Athletic or other related industry experience preferred, but not required.

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year.
