$1,773.02 to $1,950.32 biweekly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. South Area. Work schedule is variable and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Performs skilled professional work in managing the operations, maintenance, security, and staff of at least one major County park and campground. Supervision is given to the park and campground staff.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Recreation and Parks Administration, Parks Management, or a closely related fieldPLUSone (1) year of supervisory or management experience in a park, recreation and park, or a closely related type of program. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. The applicant will be disqualified from further consideration for the position if a Level I background criminal background investigation, performed in accordance with Brevard County Administrative Order 5 (AO-5), discloses the applicant has disqualifying convictions (as defined in AO-5). In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
