What you will do:

• Support the timely execution of PM/PdM activities including documentation of findings, work performed, and follow up work if required.
• Performwork requiring a thorough knowledge of instrument loops, operation, components, and of the electrical and mechanical principles involved in testing, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration.
• Maintenance and calibration of process instrumentation devices, interlocks, electrical power distribution and monitoring devices, VFD drives and motor control.
• Analyzer experience preferred.
• DCS controls experience preferred.
• Manage and maintain instrument calibration documentation leveraging CMMS and other calibration databases.
• Utilizethe CMMS system to access asset information including, asset attributes, history, Bill of Materials, and standard job plans.
• Support validation and refinement of asset bill of materials, standard job plans, and PM activities.
• Participate in the Management of Change (MOC) process and supporting activities and documentation.
• Orderunplanned materials from the Warehouse and verifies the availability via the ERP system.
• Provide work execution feedback and post job reviews of actual work performed and materials used compared to plan and provides feedback to planning.
• Coach and mentor less experienced technicians.
• Support 5-Why and other Root Cause Analysis

What you will bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical degree in Instrumentation and/or Electrical preferred
• 6+ years of Instrumentation or Electrical experience required.
• A commitment to Safety and Environmental leading practices and culture
• A commitment to continuous improvement
• Oracle EAM and Procal experience is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to work extended hours and required overtime, particularly during turnarounds and unit down times.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, work at heights, safely lift up to 50lbs, walk, crawl, bend, stoop, and work in confined spaces.
• Comfortable working in an industrial atmosphere with fumes, temperature extremes, loud noise, vibration, dust, etc.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and extended outage schedules based on plant issues and outages.
