Job Summary or Scope: Financial Aid Specialist are responsible for performing regular quality control checks and balances of all Federal Aid, State Financial Aid programs, Institutional scholarships and External scholarships. These include systematic reviews that affect the student's eligibility, reviewing documentation, and awards/disbursements in accordance with university policies and procedures and Federal and State Regulations. Assist management with quality control reports of loans, verifications, and grants working daily reports to verify student's eligibility and packaging is accurate in accordance with Federal/State/Institutional Regulations. Responsible for the Worldwide Financial Aid Return Mail process, monitoring the imaging return mail and terms and conditions queues, contacting students/counselors regarding their incorrect documentation. Maintain a working knowledge of Federal and State Regulations and ERAU policies/regulations. Support excellence in students' services at every opportunity, support academic quality in our teaching and learning environment, participate as a team member and support our team environment.
