About The Program:

Our interns are provided with the right support and resources to produce impactful results supporting the business goals at Owens Corning. As a Sustainability Intern, you can expect challenging assignments that leverage and broaden your expertise by applying them to real-world Sustainability and Innovation. The experience will provide opportunities to work with high-profile teams on critical initiatives. Your discoveries pave the path to our future. We are counting on you to ensure we deliver on our mission, "To build a sustainable future through material innovation."

The following responsibilities for this program will include:



  • Work on products and projects with a positive global impact
  • Personal growth and industry networking opportunities
  • Connection with members of Team Leaders with opportunities to present projects and receive personalized feedback
  • Opportunity to experience and evaluate the Owens Corning culture - Sustainability interns will be included in Science and Technology (S&T) cohort activities for a higher sense of connection with the Granville, OH S&T site
  • Project specific training, with potential projects including but not limited to:

    • Sustainability Benchmarking
    • Environmental Regulations and Policy
    • Product Sustainability




MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge with the ability to generate creative solutions.
  • Self-motived and eagerness to lead projects or take initiative.
  • Thrives in a stretch assignment/challenge.
  • Strong problem solving and listening skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong teamwork, versatility, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Efficient project planning, documentation, and execution skills with a process orientation.
  • Ability to follow Owens Corning safety protocols and sage work practices.
