Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an Accounting Intern - FP&A at our corporate office! Primary Responsibilities:
- Aid in preparation of fiscal budget templates, processes and presentation materials.
- Aid in developing annual budget guidance.
- Partner with business executives and FP&A professionals to design and implement functional department budgets, offering a unique opportunity to learn and grow in the field of financial planning.
- Performance analysis of monthly results and tracking to Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
- Participate in month end executive reporting.
- Assist with data validation and testing and administration projects related to Oracle implementation.
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
You Must Have:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship with 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
We Would Also Prefer:
- Excellent analytical and computer skills, with proficiency in MicrosoftOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated communication and organization skills
- Strong desire to learn and add value
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and leadership potential
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
