About the role The Sr. Manager, Events will lead the development and execution of Auctane's events strategy, managing a high-velocity events calendar while ensuring each event is optimized for impact. This leader will oversee a team responsible for executing owned events, industry trade shows, and digital experiences such as webinars. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong executional skills, capable of driving event strategy, managing logistics, and collaborating with sales and product teams to ensure events contribute to pipeline and revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering events that engage audiences, generate demand, and create business opportunities. This position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) and is located in Austin, Texas. About the team The Events team is responsible for executing high-impact events that drive engagement, conversion, and pipeline growth for Auctane. This includes hosting our annual user conference, managing trade shows, executing owned events, and supporting webinars. This team works cross-functionally with sales, product, and the broader marketing organization to ensure events deliver measurable business outcomes. What will you be doing?
- Develop & Own the Events Strategy: Build a scalable events strategy that aligns with Auctane's business goals, ensuring a mix of owned, industry, and digital events.
- Lead End-to-End Event Execution: Oversee the planning, logistics, and execution of all events, ensuring seamless delivery.
- Optimize Trade Show Presence: Select the right trade shows and maximize Auctane's investment by optimizing booth presence, sponsorships, and lead generation strategies.
- Execute High-Impact Owned Events: Manage all aspects of Auctane's user conference and other company-hosted events, ensuring strong engagement and ROI.
- Webinar Strategy & Execution: Support and improve Auctane's webinar program to enhance customer education and lead nurturing.
- Drive Pipeline & Event ROI: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure events generate leads, accelerate deals, and contribute to revenue growth.
- Lead & Develop a Team: Build, mentor, and manage a team responsible for executing events at scale.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Measure event success through KPIs, attendee engagement, and pipeline impact, using insights to optimize future events.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present event performance, insights, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
