What will I do as the Recruitment Specialist at The GIANT Company?
- Serve as a strategic recruiting partner for Retail Operations and Pharmacy, working closely with leadership to meet staffing needs and improve hiring practices.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their unique staffing needs and develop an effective pipeline of qualified candidates, keeping diversity and inclusion top of mind.
- Effectively manage a high volume of requisitions simultaneously, with clear tracking of each requisition's status.
- Source candidates through a variety of methods (job postings, employee referrals, job fairs, internet searches, public organizations, colleges & universities, networking, job boards, advertisements, etc.).
- Champion fair and equitable hiring practices.
- Continuously analyze diversity metrics to ensure a pipeline of qualified, diverse candidates, contributing to a more inclusive workforce.
- Leverage our HRIS system to ensure the effective use of hiring features and maintain accurate records throughout the recruitment process.
- Prepare and present competitive offer letters that reflect our company values and align with each candidate's potential contribution to the organization.
- Guide new hires through a smooth onboarding process, including coordinating IT setup, ensuring tools and resources are ready for day one, and providing a comprehensive brand orientation.
- Manage the pre-employment screening process, ensuring full compliance with federal regulations and company policies.
- Maintain frequent contact with candidates during and after the interview to ensure candidates receive timely feedback.
- Attend career fairs and networking functions as needed.
- Oversee and manage immigration processes and relocation efforts for candidates, ensuring a positive experience as they transition to our company.
- Work on ad hoc recruitment projects as assigned.
What do we expect you to bring to the table?

- 2-4 years of experience in HR or a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Communications is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a strong team-oriented approach.

What are the details?
- Hybrid Remote:This position is based out of Carlisle, PA, and will require 3 days a week in the office.
- Reporting:The Recruitment Specialist reports into the Manager, Talent Acquisition within the Talent and Culture Team.
