Job Summary:

The Intake Coordinator/QA Specialist is responsible for receiving, screening, and processing all referrals that come into the Intensive Services Program. This position is also responsible for providing information about Penny Lane's services to clients, DMH representatives and the community. The Intake Coordinator/QA Specialist receives referrals from DMH and is required to open an EXYM account, upload all documents received with the referral into EXYM, assign the referrals to teams as indicated by the Program Directors, and complete a disposition regarding the status of the enrollment that is uploaded into the SRTS. This position tracks all the enrollments and slot availability in Wraparound, FSP, and IFCCS. The Intake Coordinator/QA Specialist is expected to provide support to Penny Lane staff regarding the process and timeliness associated with completion of paperwork.

This position works under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager and the IS Lead Intake Coordinator. The Quality Assurance Specialist will work to ensure that all chart documentation is accurate and in compliance with DCFS and DMH standards. This position will assist with ensuring the quality improvement in the Intensive Services program by conducting chart audits and making sure that corrections are made in a timely manner. The Quality Assurance Specialist will also assist with tracking the submission of documents, and gathering and submitting data as needed/requested.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6 months of customer service or call center experience and 6 months of clerical experience.
  • Or a high school diploma with 1 year of customer service or call center experience and 1 year of clerical experience.
  • Or a high school diploma with 1 year of direct Intensive Services service.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products, as well as the willingness and ability to learn specialized software as needed.
  • Bilingual Spanish required (verbal skillset only).
  • Valid California driver's license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization's insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours.

Position Location: North Hills, CA

Salary Range: $21.77 - $27.90 per hour

Additional $1.00 per hour bilingual Spanish differential
