THE JOB:

As an Apprentice Bartender at Aria, you won't just mix drinks, you'll mix unforgettable experiences. Working across various bars on the property, you'll assist our talented bartenders while ensuring each venue shines. More than just supporting behind the bar, you'll be the first to welcome guests, setting the stage for exceptional service with every pour, garnish, and smile. By anticipating their needs and personalizing each interaction, you'll turn ordinary moments into WOW memories that guests will carry with them long after their stay.

THE STARTING RATE: $15.6545 plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Assist the bartender with preparation of drinks, mixes, and garnishes

• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar area

• Maintain sufficient stock of all items and products in designated work areas

• Ensure proper setup, labeling, stocking and delivery of alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, supplies, glasses, paper products, garnishes, and ice

• Clean equipment, tools, supplies, polish glassware and ensure equipment is in working order

• Promote and maintain the highest level of service to all guests while staying alert to their needs and respond effectively to guest inquiries

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• One year experience in a high-volume environment as a bar porter, apprentice bartender or bartender

• In-depth knowledge of various liquors, spirits, wines, and cocktails, with the ability to recommend and serve beverages that enhance the guest experience

• Strong customer service background, with the ability to create personalized experiences and address guest needs promptly and professionally

• Ability to work varied on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays
