Raymond West is looking for an engaging Parts Team Lead to join our Systems Team! The Systems Parts Lead will work closely with all departments and follow the policies, procedures, and guidelines for internal controls. The Systems Parts Lead must develop a positive relationship with all its customers and vendors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities will vary with the specific position. Typical responsibilities are listed below. This list is not inclusive.



  • Oversee direct reports in their daily tasks to ensure accurate & timely completion, Participate in coaching, counseling and disciplinary actions with the Parts Manager when requested. Work with staff to ensure timecard accuracy and adjust as needed.
  • Work in conjunction with Parts Manager to create and assign goals in ADP for direct reports.
  • Ensure timely responsiveness to customer requests, assist with prioritizing workload when needed.
  • Assist in training utilizing standard work (SWI) in conjunction with Corporate Parts Trainer.
  • Present and encourage a professional parts experience.
  • Promote safe operations, procedures and results.
  • Work with Parts Manager to control departmental operating costs.
  • Ensure adequate department coverage during staffing shortages.
  • Work with the Inventory Teams to ensure inventory is accurate and stocking levels are maintained.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with team to foster positive environment.
  • Ensure Shine Schedule is adhered to, so the department is showroom ready.
  • Keep sensitive information and documentation confidential.
  • Oversee schedule for the runner position, if applicable.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Participate in interviews for new employees.


Required Skills/Abilities:



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Organizational Time Management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office Suite and similar software
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Co-workers, and Managers in other departments
  • Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required.
  • Certified and proficient Forklift operator


Education/Experience:

Minimum Education and Experience: Determined by position



  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, or a demonstrated ability to perform functions of position.


Travel Requirement:



  • 25% dependent on department coverage needs.
  • Must be able to be insured by Raymond West.

Pay Range:



  • The hourly range for this position is $18.00 - $38.00. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.


Qualified candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
